Diving the Gulf of Aqaba, Jordan

Aqaba is our "zen" destination. The Red Sea here is different from Egypt—calmer, quieter, and incredibly easy. We dive here when we want to slow down. The water is glass-flat, and the sites are right off the beach. And our favorite is the underwater military museum. There is something surreal about swimming past a tank or sitting in the cockpit of a sunken C-130 Hercules while a turtle chews on the coral growing on the wing.

It’s effortless diving. You aren’t fighting currents as you will just be floating through clear blue water and exploring the calmer side of the red sea underwater. We love it because it’s accessible, unique, and lets you focus purely on the visuals without the workout.
