1. You learn the basics of scuba diving, equipment, communication, buoyancy, and safety.
2. You practice your skills in calm, shallow water until you feel ready for the ocean.
3. You complete four open water dives while applying your skills and experiencing the marine life of the Maldives.
4. You become a certified PADI Open Water Diver after completing all course requirements

Meet Your Instructor
Veda is the founder of Marine Quests and the person you’ll probably spend the most time during your dive trip with in and around the water. He’s a PADI MSDT Instructor and Tec Diver with over 1000 dives, but more than anything, he’s someone who genuinely enjoys being underwater and sharing that experience with other people.
Over the years, diving has taken him through all kinds of environments, conditions, and adventures—some calm and effortless, others a little more challenging and unpredictable. That mix of experience shaped the way he teaches and guides today: relaxed, adaptable, and focused on making sure people actually enjoy the process instead of feeling rushed through it.
